Last updated: January 10, 2025

The Short Version

Your data is yours. I don't own it, sell it, or keep it longer than necessary.

Your customers' data is your responsibility. You must have the right to share it with me. I only use it to build your automation.

I delete everything when we're done. Ask me to delete your data at any time and I will.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to Save 10 Hours, operated by Adi Perswal ("I," "me," or "my"). It covers data collected through the website at save10hours.com and through the automation services I provide.

This policy applies to you if you: visit the website, use the free analysis tools, book a strategy call, or engage my automation services.

2. Data I Collect

From Website Visitors

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time on site, referring URL. Collected via privacy-respecting analytics.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution.
  • IP address: Used for rate limiting the free tools (to enforce the 3 uses/day limit) and basic geographic analytics. IP addresses are not stored long-term.

From Free Tool Users

  • Input data: The information you enter into the analysis tools (product categories, revenue figures, hours worked, etc.). This data is processed to generate your analysis and is not stored after the session ends.

From Strategy Call Bookings

  • Name and email: To schedule and communicate about the call.
  • Business information: What you share during the booking process.

From Automation Clients

  • Business operations data: Inventory levels, order data, product information, pricing, fulfillment data, and other information needed to build your automation systems.
  • Platform credentials or API access: If needed to build integrations, handled securely (see Section 6).
  • Your customers' data: If relevant to the automation (e.g., customer service automation may require access to customer emails or order history). See Section 4 for important information about this data.

3. Your Data Ownership

You own your data. All business data you provide to me remains your property. I acquire no ownership rights to your data. I am a service provider using your data solely to provide the services you requested.

You control your data. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. See Section 8 for how to exercise these rights.

I don't sell your data. I will never sell, rent, or trade your business data to third parties.

4. Your Customers' Data (Important)

If you provide me access to data about your customers (names, emails, addresses, order history, support tickets, etc.), you are responsible for:

  • Having the legal right to share this data with me. This typically means having appropriate terms in your own privacy policy that permit sharing data with service providers.
  • Compliance with privacy laws applicable to you and your customers (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). You are the data controller for your customers' data. I am a data processor acting on your instructions.
  • Obtaining any necessary consents from your customers if required by applicable law.

What I will do with your customers' data:

  • Use it only to build and operate the automation systems you requested.
  • Not use it for my own marketing or any other purpose.
  • Not share it with third parties except as necessary to provide the services (e.g., cloud hosting).
  • Delete it upon termination of our engagement or upon your request.
  • Implement reasonable security measures to protect it.

What I will not do:

  • Contact your customers directly for any reason.
  • Use your customer list for my own business development.
  • Sell or share your customer data with anyone.
  • Retain your customer data after our engagement ends.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify me against any claims arising from your handling of your customers' data, including claims that you did not have proper rights or consents to share such data. See the Terms of Service for full indemnification terms.

5. How I Use Data

  • To provide services: Building automation systems, generating analyses, communicating about your project.
  • To improve the tools: Understanding how the free tools are used to make them better. This is done with aggregated, anonymized data.
  • To create case studies: With your approval, as described in the Terms of Service. Case studies never include your customers' personal data.
  • To prevent abuse: Rate limiting, fraud prevention on the $50 guarantee.

6. Data Security

I implement reasonable security measures including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest.
  • Access controls limiting who can access client data (currently just me).
  • Secure handling of API credentials and platform access tokens.
  • Regular security updates to systems and dependencies.

No system is 100% secure. I cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you promptly if I become aware of any breach affecting your data.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Contact information: Retained while we have an active relationship and for up to 2 years after for follow-up communication, unless you request deletion.
